FREE CONCERT BY YOUNG PIANIST AT WEST SIDE

Demarest Ave., Englewood, NJ, proudly presents a free solo recital by the rising young classical pianist Eric Clark on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at 4:00 PM. Mr. Clark,  24 years old, has been heard throughout much of the USA and Italy. An avid chamber musician, he has played chamber music concerts in Pittsburgh’s Carnegie Music Hall and at Severance Hall in Cleveland. Eric is a 2007 honors graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where he received a full scholarship to complete his master’s degree. After winning First Prize in a concerto competition at Carnegie Mellon, Eric  makes his American orchestral debut next March in Pittsburgh, play-ing Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto #1. For his recital at West Side Presbyterian Church, Eric has put together a program of music by Scarlatti, Schubert, Chopin, and Liszt. The concert is free to the public; freewill donations are welcome.
